  • Before reading any comments I had to respond. I am hispanic and I think this school is STUPID. WTF???? Is there a requirement for school officials to be STUPID???? Those kids who were enraged have no clue this is NOT a holiday like the 4th of July, it is NOT celebrated in Mexico.

  • Watt...I didn't say I support illegals here in the US. Being an immigrant, I want tougher immigration laws. In 1975 in order to come here my family had to fill out papers, wait and wait and proof we could afford to come to the US and promise to never ever be on public welfare.

  • Hey Maverick...you sound really sad. What's wrong??? Do you need a job, my husband owns a business maybe he can hire you, or do you need money for food I can send you some money. Wait maybe you had to wait too long in some hospital because you lost your job and your medical insurance.

  • I said I hated serving on a jury, doesn't mean I don't. Oh ok...if I whine then I am not a good citizen, good test. No need to carry a passport in the USA and yes, I would sue if my husband got pulled over for looking like a "mexican" Don't you just love this country....I do!

  • Boffo...I'm white, I am a legal citizen of the USA, and I vote. But I was born in South America. I came here legally when I was 5 and I only became a citizen after 9/11. Otherwise I would of remained a permanent resident, until the day I die.

  • We are already buying insurance and have been all our lives. We don't expect anyone to give us insurance for free. We work hard and work for what we need. Anyone can buy insurance.

  • What about this Karin. My friend switched jobs and her new insurance did not take effect for 3 months. Her two children where hospitalized with appendicitis. She had no insurance for them yet. She choose to sell her home and pay the hospital. That is called being responsible.

  • I like it. EVERYONE pays taxes. The person making $1 million and the person making 10K a year. We all pay the same percentage. Where do I vote. No freebees for anyone.
